Scott G. DeMars, DPM

Dr. DeMars was raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin and moved to Billings with his family in 1979.  He graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco.  After a podiatric surgical residency at the VA Medical Center in Albuquergue, NM, he started his Billings practice in 1988.  In 1993, Dr. DeMars joined Dr. O'Reilly to form Rimrock Podiatry.

Dr. Demars is a past president of the Montana Podiatric Medical Association, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.  He has privileges at St Vincent Hospital and Yellowstone and Northern Rockies surgery centers in Billings.  Dr. DeMars also sees patients at the Mountainview Clinic in Red Lodge.

Dr. DeMars has two sons, Brandon, who attends MSU Billings and Ryan who is attending MSU Bozeman.  Dr. DeMars is an avid big game hunter and also enjoys backpacking, hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

W. Charles O'Reilly, DPM

  

W. Chuck O'Reilly was raised in New England, attended Providence College in Rhode Island, and first experienced Montana through a position in the Jesuit Volunteer Corp.  He was a volunteer at St. Xavier, Montana where he taught science to grades 5 through 8.  After finishing the year of teaching, he traveled to San Francisco to attend the California College of Podiatric Medicine.  After graduating from CCPM, he moved to San Diego where he completed his surgical residency.  Soon thereafter, he opened his office in Billings, Montana in 1979.

Dr. O'Reilly is Board Certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a member of the Montana and American Podiatric Medical Associations.

He has privileges at St Vincent Hospital and Yellowstone and Northern Rockies surgery centers in Billings.

Chuck and his wife, Alice, have two sons, Michael and Matthew.  They all enjoy hiking, fishing, reading, and skiing.

Merrell K. Kauwe, DPM

 

Dr. Kauwe was born in Hawaii, but raised much of his life in Utah.   He received his bachelors degree in biology at Utah Valley University.  He received his professional degree from the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.  Dr. Kauwe recently completed a three year surgical residency at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, IA. 

Dr. Kauwe is board qualified in foot surgery as well as rearfoot and ankle reconstruction.  He treats patients of all ages.

He is accompanied in his move to Montana by his wife, Genevieve, as well as three children, Jacob, David, and, Kalei.
